Virtual Assistance in Today's Economy

Unfortunately, times are bad economically for a lot of industries; the “trickle” effect has worked its way into almost every business. I hate to take advantage of other’s misfortune, but now is the time for marketing and networking in the virtual world. VA’s need to stress the benefits to potential clients of engaging the services of an off-site assistant. Essentially, point out the benefits of an employer not having to pay a full time employee that they may not be able to afford at this time, not to mention health insurance, taxes, etc. Remember, if one particular commerce is down, others will be affected. Follow through from A to Z in a methodical way and think about how other associated trades are being affected as well.

Seize the opportunity of this downturn in our economy to build up a long term client base. Also, look in your local government databases for new business licenses that have been applied for. Drive by new industrial business centers and stop by and leave a few business cards and brochures.
